80% Commitment
ChildFund New Zealand strives to send at least 80% of child sponsorship funds overseas to help children. Highly qualified ChildFund workers and coordinators work to ensure the management and delivery of programmes that help provide healthcare, clean water, nutritious food, income generation skills and educational facilities.
This means that no more than 20% is retained in New Zealand to help us run our small New Zealand based office.
Our ChildFund Future Fund is retained here in New Zealand to ensure the consistent delivery of our quality programs, developing additional programs in new countries, helping to find more child sponsors for children in need and educating New Zealanders about eradicating poverty.
If you choose to make special gift to your sponsored child 100% of that gift money is sent directly to your sponsored child.
