ABOUT Amos

Amos is cheerful but needy child hailing from a poor family in eastern part of Kenya. He lives with his parents. The region where they are hailing from is an arid are with very little and unreliable rainfall annually. The family source of livelihoods is small scale farming. The farming is often affected by severe weather which does not support crop farming well. The crops like cassava and sorghum they grow therefore does very poorly. The income they get is not enough to meet their needs. His family lives in semi permanent house which is not well maintained. They get an average income of less than US$150 annually. His case was brought to us by his parents who were seeking assistance for their child. On assessing the family situation, the committee recommended Amos for enrollment. Amos is an active and out going child. He likes playing with locally made toys. He is kind and humble. Your sponsorship will be a blessing to him and will give him a hope and a bright future.
