PENS AGAINST POVERTY
The Pens against Poverty Challenge fits in easily with the New Zealand Literacy curriculum. It will provide students with an exciting opportunity to expand their writing skills, broaden their perspective of gift giving, and create a script based on criteria developed by New Zealand actor and playwright Alison Quigan.
ChildFund New Zealand has developed a sample unit plan and worksheets to make it as simple as possible for your class to take part in the Pens against Poverty Challenge. We encourage you to download these resources and use them in your classroom, or simply use them as a starting point for your own lesson planning.
