Early in 2017, our child sponsors were sent a chicken and egg game to send to their sponsored child. We’re pleased to say the games were super popular with the children and they’ve shared with us some comments about them!

6 year old Mwendwa shared his thoughts on the game

Hi Mwendwa! What was your favourite thing about your chicken and egg game?

I like it because it is about chicken and eggs and I love eating chicken and eggs. They are very yummy!

Did you show the game to anyone?

Yes, I showed it to my classmates, my mother and my sister.

What will you do with the game? Where will you keep it?

I play the game with my mother and my friends. I always win so I enjoy playing. I keep the card inside a box with my clothes.

What would you like to say to the people who sent you this card?

Thank you.

8 year old Lucy plays the game every day

What do you like about this game?

I like the game because I can play it every day and still not get bored with it. I also like it because it is very big and has many colours. This is the biggest card I have ever seen!

Did you show the game to anyone?

Yes, I showed it to many people. I showed it to my mother, my friends at school, in church and some of my neighbours at home.

Do you play the game often? Where will you keep it?

I play the game every day with my mother and my friends. I gave it to my mum to keep it for me safely in her drawer so that no one can take it.

What would you like to say to the people who sent you this card?

I am so grateful. Thank you for this card.

Karei likes the game because it’s colourful

Hi Karei, what do you like about the game?

I like it because it is very colourful and it makes me think. It also teaches me a lot of things about eggs and that if I eat them I will grow healthy and strong.

Did you show the game to anyone?

Yes, I showed it to my brother, my mother and father, and some of my friends at school.

What will you do with the game? Where will you keep it?

I play the game every evening with my brother and some of my friends. I cover it with a paper bag so that it does not get torn and then I keep it inside my school bag with some of my books.

What would you like to say to the people who sent you this card?

Thank you so much Susan. This is a very nice card.

Hi Mueni! What do you like about the chicken and egg game?

I like this game because it is easy to play. I also like it because it tells me a lot about eggs. I have learnt that I can use eggshells to plant seeds.  I have already planted some flowers in egg shells and I am waiting for them to grow.

Did you show it to anyone?

Yes, I showed it to my mother, father, my friend and my neighbours.

What will you do with the game? Where will you keep it?

I play the game with my friends at home and my parents. I keep the card under my mattress on my bed.
