Tropical Cyclone Evan hit Samoa earlier this month, bringing strong winds and floods, and killing 2 people.  On 17 December the storm travelled to Fiji, where it is thought to be the strongest cyclone in 20 years to hit the island nation. It has uprooted trees and homes, and has caused widespread power and water outages.

ChildFund does not operate in Fiji or Samoa, and we are not currently collecting donations in response to Cyclone Evan.  However, if you would like to help, please visit the NGO Disaster Relief Forum website, where you can make a donation and get further involved with the relief efforts.
