Every year, we are amazed at the generosity of Kiwis! Together you’ve reached thousands of children around the world with life-changing programmes and gifts from our Gifts that Grow catalogue.
But once you’ve purchased items and received your gift cards in the mail, what happens to those gifts? How are they distributed, and how do they impact the lives of children in need? How do Gifts that Grow help children thrive?
We are committed to long-term development. That’s why it’s important that the gifts you provide help the communities we work with to reach self-reliance even faster.
Because of this, we work closely with our partners in our dedicated communities to find ways to complement our existing plans with the gifts you choose to send to children and youth around the world.
We only send gifts that are going to make the biggest difference in communities. Our country office staff members discuss with children, families, local partners and leaders to determine where the gifts will be used best.
For many of our supporters, Gifts that Grow is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the life of a child. It’s a rewarding way to make a long-lasting difference for those in need around the world, and an exciting way to help children thrive.
