Meet Vanessa Madsen, Team Leader of Donor Care

“I want to help children because I feel that every child deserves a chance at a good life and to become the person that they want to be. Being a mother myself and going through some tough times, I feel empathy for parents and children living in our project areas.”

It may be me on the other end of the phone when you call. For over three years now I have been part of the ChildFund New Zealand donor care team helping supporters with their queries.

I am passionate about customer service and working here makes me happy as I know that I am making a difference to the lives of not only the children we serve, but to supporters too.

Looking after my own children, doing cross stich and collecting cow ornaments keep me busy when I’m not working.
